The Covid Vaccine booster is now available for 18 years and above. If it has been 6 months since your 2nd dose of the Covid vaccine, you can have a booster shot.

Ways to Book an Appointment:

1. Through MyIndici Patient Portal
While this is our preferred way of booking, we are temporarily suspending this service due to being in Omicron Plan Phase 2

2. By Phone 03 348 8989
During opening hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturdays 9am to 5pm

Please note, you must be well when you come in for your Covid Vaccine. If you have a cough, sore throat, runny nose or fever etc, please reschedule your appointment.

If you have already booked your vaccine through the Book My Vaccine system and wish to be vaccinated by us, you will need to cancel your appointment with Book My Vaccine. This can easily be done via the link provided on the text confirming your appointment. You will need to book your vaccine directly through us by ringing 03 348 8989 as we are not using the national Book My Vaccine system to book appointments.

International Travel - Covid Travel Swabs and Blood Testing

From 17 January we are no longer booking any appointments for Covid travel testing. The following medical centres can do these in Christchurch:

  • Village Health. 30 Lincoln Road
  • Riccarton Clinic. 4 Yaldhurst Road
  • Moorhouse Medical. 3 Pilgrim Place
  • WeCare Wigram. 67 Skyhawk Road
  • Rako Science. https://www.rakoscience.com/ They do saliva PCR tests which are accepted by some countries.

For travellers to China: on the Chinese Embassy website, the testing clinic to go to is Northlands SCL https://testtotravel.co.nz/collection-centre/test-to-travel-canterbury-scl-northfield/

Domestic Travel - Rapid Antigen Testing

Remedy Pharmacy Riccarton (next door to Doctors on Riccarton) at 5 Wainui Street, Riccarton, will be doing Rapid Antigen Testing for people who need it for travelling within New Zealand. Please phone them for an appointment. Phone: 03-925 9963
