We have flu vaccines available for over 3 years. Some people may be eligible for a FREE flu vaccine - click on link for eligibility.
For under 3 years, there is a child flu vaccine which is in short supply in New Zealand. The Ministry of Health have directed us to only vaccinate under 3 years if they have are eligible for a Free Flu Vaccine.
The strains for the 2020 flu vaccine in New Zealand is:
- A/Brisbane/02/2018 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus
- A/South Australia/34/2019 (H3N2)-like virus
- B/Washington/02/2019-like virus
- B/Phuket/3073/2013-like virus
